Blacklist — Flagging Repeat Chargeback Customers

The Blacklist lets you flag customers who have filed multiple chargebacks so you can protect your store from repeat offenders.
Privacy & Data Security
All customer identifiers are stored using SHA-256 hashing — the original data (email, phone, address) is never stored in plain text. No personally identifiable information is ever stored or transmitted. You must opt in to Data Sharing Consent before the Blacklist activates.
Enabling the Blacklist
Auto-Flag Settings
Set a minimum number of disputes a customer must file before being automatically flagged (minimum: 2). Click "Save Settings".

Enabling the Blacklist
- Go to Blacklist in the left sidebar
- Read the Data Sharing Consent notice
- Click "Opt In" to enable
- The status will change to "Blacklist is active"

- Go to Blacklist in the left sidebar
- Find "Flag a Customer"
- Enter any combination of email, phone number, or billing/shipping address
- Add an optional reason
- Click "Flag Customer"
Checking an Order Before Fulfilling
- Go to Blacklist in the left sidebar
- Find "Check an Order / Customer"
- Enter the customer's email, phone, or address
- Click "Check Blacklist"
- The result shows either "No match found" or "Match found — flagged customer"
